Have you ever given much thought to the dreaded privacy policy of your website?

Realistically, who reads the privacy policy page anyways? They tend to be long, boring, and usually has some encrypted legal jargon that no one completely understands. However, the privacy policy should not be put off and forgotten about because there is some valuable information within this page to your website.

#TwElfDays of Christmas

I have to give it to my good friend Cleve Persinger (@Persinger) for this ingenious, “11th hour” idea. This purely displays why we are good friends and co-laborers in ministry. I am kinda jealous of his creativity, but so glad to plug it and be part of the MediaSalt.com team.

It’s about OTHERS, December 13-25! Seriously, pick one person per day, during the 12 days before Christmas, and encourage them publicly through Twitter.

Why? We’ve all experienced the occasional self-centeredness, rants, and one-way conversation Twitter can bring out sometimes. Let’s join together to change that during the next 12 days.

That’s what Christmas should be about anyway. Offering encouraging words is one way we can give this season, and in some cases to those who are least deserving. Isn’t that what Jesus did?

@Mediasalt : Conducting a Twitter Contest

Have you participated in a Twitter contest or giveaway? Examples include following someone (person or company), re-tweeting a specific message, or tweeting a specific #HASHTAG and a random winner will be chosen at a defined date and time.

We all want to increase our followers, bring awareness to our online presence, and do so with professionalism and organization. I’ve personally set up a contest with the @BigHypeMedia Facebook page and it worked rather well. The contest got people to “like” for a chance to win a domain and hosting for 1 year.

How do companies (churches, non profits, individuals in particular) run these contests and select winners without paying a significant amount?
