@MichaelWSmith #Haiti Relief

At the end of last month – January 26-28, 2010 – I was fortunate enough to be invited to travel on “Special Assignment” with some co-workers from The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to head to Nashville for a couple days. Exact details were scarce but all I knew was to be prepared to fly to NashVegas and to come to work the next day with luggage in tow.  I did know of bits and pieces, from sporadic conversations – in the fact that it had to do with Haiti, Michael W. Smith and the recording of a song with several B-I-G Nashville musicians such a Amy Grant, Wynonna Judd, and The Oak Ridge Boys.

Here is just a short glimpse of who was there and a “behind-the-scenes” looks taken from my mobile phone.

Razoo & Online Donations

In concrete terms, Razoo is a new way to give and raise money online. We help donors find inspiring giving opportunities or donate to any registered US charity. We assist nonprofits and volunteers in finding new donors and raising money through easy-to-use fundraising pages, social media tools, and donation processing.

Our company aims to address a huge unmet need in the philanthropic space: the need for a comprehensive donor-oriented giving platform, where ordinary people can find both the inspiration to make a difference and the tools to turn that inspiration into real change.

We are funded by philanthropic partners seeking to revolutionize giving, and we generate revenue through partnerships with corporations and foundations that share our vision. In a recent partnership, we helped launch GiveMN, a localized online giving marketplace serving the state of Minnesota.

We provide our services in partnership with GuideStar and Network for Good, two of the established leaders in the nonprofit space.
